About the Journal

Journal of Nurses and Midwives Pakistan (Online) (JNMP) contributes to the progression of evidence-based nursing, midwifery, and healthcare by publishing high-quality research and with the potential to advance knowledge for practice, education, management, or policy. JNMP aims to promote communication among Nursing & Midwifery researchers worldwide. JNMP's intended readership includes practicing nurses and midwives in all spheres and at all levels who are committed to advancing practice and professional development based on new knowledge and evidence.

This Semiannual, open access, peer-reviewed research journal was proposed on 15th March 2021. This journal publishes quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method original works within the area of Nursing & Midwifery. All papers submitted to JNMP are required to have a sound scientific, evidential, theoretical, or philosophical base and to be critical, questioning, and scholarly in approach.

In Pakistan, research on this subject is rare and unpublished. JNMP promises to support a diversity of research in this area to help managers and senior members of the nursing and midwifery professions; nurse educators and nursing students; and researchers.
